We offer you the choice of many popular True North designs, which can be built exactly as shown throughout True North’s award-winning plan book, or with your own modifications. We have the expertise to help you make decisions that will realize your log home dream without compromising on quality. Your True North representative has the experience and training to guide you through the entire design, planning and building process to make sure that your home becomes the “masterpiece” you have envisioned.
A STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS
1. Discover & Dream
You’ll meet with one of our Sales & Design Consultants to talk through your vision, site (or target region), budget benchmarks, and how you envision using the home—weekends, seasons, or full-time. This is a relaxed exploratory conversation where we listen first and help you understand what is possible for your property and investment level.
2. Initial Design
Your Sales & Design Consultant in collaboration with our award-winning design team, develops an initial concept for your home based on how you want to live and your vision for the home. This can involve creating a custom design from scratch, starting with drawings that you bring to us, or tailoring one of True North’s many award-winning plans to your site, lifestyle, and aesthetic.
3. WORKING DRAWINGS
Once you are happy with the design, we move into detailed working drawings. These include structural details, 3D views, and the information needed for permitting and accurate pricing with your builder, helping you validate your total turnkey budget before moving forward.
4. Production
With drawings approved, our factory in Bracebridge begins cutting your home using our precision cutting technology. Robust quality control checks and a detailed inventory control system ensure that every component specified in your design is precisely manufactured. We also package our patented technology with the wood itself, so the joinery, gaskets, and hardware arrive together to deliver the airtight performance needed for True North’s industry leading 25-Year Zero Air Infiltration Warranty.
5. Delivery
Finally, we deliver your complete home package to your site. Your package will be ready for your chosen builder to assemble, and our team will be available for support throughout the build. For many clients, this is where years of dreaming become real as the structure quickly rises and your dream comes to life.
